Rudolph Community and Care is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for a position in our Crisis Residence.   This is a great way to gain experience with complex diagnosis and more than one disorders.  We provide a stable and consistent environment to people who are in the midst of a mental health crisis. Staff collaborate with resident to develop stabilization goals and support progress towards individualized visions of wellness.  Day and evening hours are available.

Mental Health Practitioners Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-3pm must be able to float between Jordan home and Shakopee home.

Mental Health Practitioners Responsibilities:

  • Create a supportive environment to better serve our clients.
  • Admitting new clients and assessing status to determine immediate needs.
  • Conduct short therapeutic interventions and facilitating groups.
  • Documenting observable behaviors and symptoms.
  • Attending supervision meetings, clinical review meetings and staff meetings.
  • Working in a collaborative, team atmosphere to provide the best care for our clients 

Schedules:

We have two Crisis homes located in Scott County, MN.  Each program operates 24/7.  Currently we have afternoon and overnight shifts available.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 10,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness

OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services
  • 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness

 

  • Experience using a variety of therapeutic modalities including crisis de-escalation, harm-reduction, and client-centered approaches is preferred.
