RCC provides paid training to candidates who are qualified, along with a $150 sign-on bonus.

An ideal candidate is caring and dependable and will provide direct support to individuals with Disabilities, Mental Illness and High Behaviors to live to their fullest potential. Those currently pursuing a degree in psychology or social services are encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties:

  • Provide direct support, guidance, counseling, and assistance to clients in their homes in order to reach his/her highest level of independence
  • Increase clients' independence by teaching life skills and activities such as; house cleaning duties, cooking, organizational skills, financial management and self-care
  • Assist clients with planning and participating in recreational activities
  • Provide transportation to appointments and recreation activities
  • Maintain documentation, record keeping and participate in meetings/training
  • Administer daily medications
  • Positive role-modeling and engagement with individuals we support
  • Provide additional personal care as needed


  • Highschool diploma/GED
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental illness (preferred)
  • Experience working with high behavior clients (preferred)
  • Ability to react quickly, excellent problem-solving skills, resourceful
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under multiple demands
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Degree in psychology or social services (preferred, not required)


  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance coverage
  • Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Human Services
  • Able to work effectively under limited supervision
  • Must be willing to work every other weekend

Full Time:


Mon., Tue., Thurs., 2pm-10pm and every other weekend 8am-10pm (must be 21+ years old)

Mon., Tue. 3pm-10pm, Wed. 2pm-10pm, Fri. 3pm-10pm and every other weekend 12pm-10pm (must be 21+ years old)

Overnight: 10pm-8am, 7 days on 7 days off (must be 21+ years old)

Mon., Wed.- Fri. 9am-3pm and every other weekend 9am-3pm

Mon.-Wed. 3pm-9pm, Fri. 3pm-9pm and every other weekend 4pm-11pm

Mon. 9am-4pm, Wed. 4pm-11pm, Fri. 9am-4pm and every other weekend 9am-9pm

Tue. 3pm-10pm, Wed. 2pm-10pm, Thurs. 3pm-10pm and every other weekend 9am-9pm

Mon.-Wed. 2:30-10pm and every other weekend 8am-10pm 

Wed.-Fri. 2:30-10pm and every other weekend 8am-10pm

Mon.-Fri. 10am-2:30pm and every other weekend 8am-10pm

Mon.-Thurs. 8am-3pm and every other weekend 8am-3pm


Part Time:


Mon. 3pm-1pm, Fri. 8am-3pm and every other weekend 8am-10pm
