Rudolph Community and Care is looking to add a full time or part time Skills Coach to our team of highly trained and caring individuals.  

Rudolph Community and Care is hiring passionate and dedicated individuals who want to make a positive difference in our consumers lives by building relationships and enhance our consumer lives by providing 1:1 care for individual's with disabilities and mental illness.  Care is based in family homes and community locations in Dakota and Scott Counties.    

Primary Duties:

  • Provide guidance, counseling, and assistance to high functioning and low behavioral consumers in their homes in order to reach his/her highest level of independence
  • Increase consumers' independence by teaching life skills and activities such as; house cleaning duties, cooking, organizational skills, financial management and self-care
  • Assist consumers with planning and participating in recreational activities
  • Work with clients on social skills through community integration
  • Provide transportation to appointments, recreation programs and work programs
  • Maintain documentation, record keeping and participate in mandatory monthly meetings/trainings


  • Ability to react quickly, excellent problem solving skills, resourceful
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under multiple demands
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • H.S. Diploma
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Valid drivers license, proof of insurance
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental illness
  • Background clearance
  • Must have sound decisions making abilities
  • Must be comfortable with basic technology
  • Must be able to drive at night
